Game Show Solutions

At the heart of our product range are our renowned Game Show Solutions.
We have the skills and resources to roll shows out all around the world - we excel at this and have implemented shows such as Power of 10, Brainteaser, Million Dollar Password and Singing Bee into dozens of territories.
We specialise in working with format developers to use technology to add value to formats. We then provide low cost systems for run throughs, demos or pilots.
Powered by ionologic and running on ionocore computers, our systems can control and synchronise a huge amount in the show - not just the graphics and game play, but sound effects, video playout, lighting cues, question databases, lights and buzzers, voting and scoring systems, back end integration etc. Click here for more details.
We generally provide a main TX output to the switcher and outputs to projectors or LED walls, monitors for host, producer and contestants and inputs from contestants via touch screens and cameras.
All our game show solutions are designed to meet the technical needs of all shows, large or small, whatever the need and typically we provide a packaged system made up of:
- Hardware - main and back up ionocore omputers and ancilliary hardware
- Software - bespoke design and configuration of your game show application.
- Installation & Operation - personnel to fully rig and operate the system.
- Worldwide 24/7 support.

Our systems run on state-of-the-art ionocore computers running ionologic. As well as integrating with a large range of industry peripherals we have developed our own range of interfaces and systems for specific applications. As productions get more and more complicated, we can provide multiple computer set-ups, all controlled by a single master computer.
We can provide additional hardware such as GPI 's, Lights, Buzzers, Keypads, SDI convertors, HD systems and Lo-Res display driver systems as well as all necessary peripherals.
We will create a bespoke software application to drive all game play and functionality for the specific requirements of your show. All our systems ae designed with international roll out in mind. Most operational parameters are changeable on site, wiith the ability to change money amounts, language, currency, graphics elements etc. Built on ionologic, this application can include the following functionality:
We are able to deliver fully rendered graphics in 3D or 2D in almost any format required to multiple screens and displays. We can source these graphics or use your own. Our systems allow us to generate and trigger fully synchronised graphics in real time.
With our custom software we can generate the graphic effect of your choice – zips, crawls, zooms, rotations, etc, and we can use any standard Windows font for text generation. We can also provide play out of clips and animations in industry standard formats or can encode animations into our own proprietary format.
In addition, we can take in a live video input and incorporate it into all of the graphic effects described above. The ionologic platform allows manipulation of live video including squashing, cropping, splitting up and manipulation in a 3D environment.
The ionologic software enables amazing 3D functionality allowing us to provide stunning effects to visually enhance any production.
We can manipulate 3D objects, live video, video clips and any other graphics in real time 3D space, all synchronised with game play or any external source. Our systems integrate with virtual studios or we can provide a low cost virtual studio ourselves.
Our systems play out synchronised audio and we also provide MIDI outputs for the triggering of sound effects as required
Our systems generate broadcast standard video in PAL or NTSC, as composite, RGB/YUV, Serial Digital (SDI) or High Definition (HD) with linear key signals and full Genlock.
We can provide almost any kind of scoring system from 7 segment mechanical displays to graphic outputs on contestant monitors or for transmission. All scoring systems are integrated with the main game control, thus avoiding the need for a separate person to control the scores.
We also provide a graphic feed to the host of the show, giving them information on the contestants' names and scores, the questions and answers, and any other relevant information. Other feeds can be supplied as necessary – category boards, count-down clocks, producer information, statistics, etc.
We provide all the necessary lockout functions and light control for contestant buzzers and buttons for the game using our standard interface units.
We can provide industry standard DMX or Midi signals to control lights via the lighting desk, or are able to provide our own DMX dimmers as necessary. We can generate almost any desired lighting effects, or can trigger pre-designed sequences set up on the lighting desk. We can also control devices that allow us to merge our lighting effects with those of the lighting desk and vice-versa.
We provide control over all types of Videowall, LED panels lasers and many more lighting and display items. Our own specially developed software often offers more facilities than the specialist Videowall companies themselves.
We have functionality that provides controls to most types of DVE systems, switchers, mixers, remote cameras, sound and lighting desks. We can automatically trigger special effects as required, and can also monitor the cut panel to synchronise graphic changes and events to camera shots.
We have developed our own voting systems specifically tailored to TV shows. Audiences are not constrained to simple Yes and No’s, or the choice of four answers, and feedback is provided to all keypads, either through an individual light or through an LCD display..
Voting systems can also be used for data capture on live phone-ins, to obtain callers names and addresses with the minimum amount of equipment, and to build up databases from this information.
These voting systems can be used to track contestants all the way through a show using databases that we have developed, with contestant and voting statistics being available in real time or on set as required.
