IONOCO SHORTLISTED FOR INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY AWARD

ionoco has been shortlisted for the 9th Annual Broadcast Engineering Excellence awards. The company was nominated in the Network Automation category for its innovative, low-cost and fully-automated studio production and multi-regional playout solution for pan-Caribbean lottery show Super Lotto.

ionoco was brought in by leading Lottery technology provider GTECH, to enable studio content to be re-versioned and re-broadcast at broadcast quality to channels in multiple Caribbean islands, quickly and cost-effectively.

ionoco engineered a system using its TV2GO Recorder, SetupPlay and Play Systems suite, and re-broadcast to each island via a secure high-speed internet line. The pioneering and cost-effective system eradicates the expense of satellite uplinks and studio editing.

The Broadcast Engineering Excellence Awards are the industry’s international mark of achievement for new facilities; recognising innovation, high-quality design and construction.
