Canis Media set ionoco the challenge to help launch Awareness TV, on the Sky platform in just 2 weeks . The channel was to broadcast live on Sky channel 888 from a tropical fish tank in London, 14 hrs a day. The channel needed to not only broadcast the fish but also music, add a text ticker in English and French and randomly generate over 250 'fish facts', every 5 minutes for 20 seconds. In order to achieve this in a cost effective manner, we used their new Web2TV product. Simon and his team worked flat out to make this happen and proved their new product is robust and could deliver more than we expected at broadcast quality. The technical support has been exceptional and I would be happy to recommend them to other broadcasters.
